Santa Lucia del Este

It's a very good place, with small waves.

Solis

The bests waves in this spot are very near rocks, the best hour to surf is at the morning, to park your car is very easy

Jose Ignacio

Every time you´ve surfed a wave you need to reach the beach and paddle out again..+When all the spots of Punta del Este are blown by the Pampero (strong winds from the SW), come to this spot and you will find a good break with offshore winds.

El Pepe

youll have no problem if you respect the locals and you will catch a lot of waves ,unless you are brazilian also known as macacos.

Mejia

It is mainly for bodyboarding. Lots of close outs.

Piedras negras

if you go to Ilo ask around for a surfer named Memo, he's one of the few locals in the area, and know what spots will be good and when, plus he know a bunch of secret spots that we discovered when i lived there.

El Hornito

una ola muy heavy con el mar grande, con el mar chico mediano es perfecto

San Pedro

If you are a surfer, don't go to San Pedro unless you trust your skills and/or you have a big quiver. If you are a bodyboarder, grab your balls and charge. This wave is mostly for bodyboarders but if you are a surfer with many boards you can surf it risking to break your board. It's a strong powerful wave with a strong current, if you are a beginner please don't take the risk.

Playa Sur

Not very consistant, usually breaks with big swells, go with booties if prefered and watchout of getting too close to the shore beacuse of the rocks and the pier. Really easy access.

Pepinos

If you go to this spot I'm sure you'll have a great time..surfing..the best is that in Pepinos , crowds don't exist..aloha..
