it jakes up a lot faster than you think it is probly best 2-3 hours after high tide

a good spot under these (rare) conditions -south west swell and good offshore winds (NW) However still surfable with medium/high S or SW windsBe careful in high SW winds strong rip coming aroung the pier pulling you east- Best to paddle out right next to the east side of the pier let the current pull you into the correct position -quite a slow wave so be prepared to work for it!
