Grande Plage des Lecques

This is a very special spot, because it breaks only 2 or 3 times per year at a good size. If you go there in winter, and if there is a good South Swell arriving, then you could have some incredible waves at Les Lecques's Beach. I've surfed this spot for ten years, and when the swell is BIG and oriented in the South direction, this spot is definitely unbelievable: I've seen there 5 meters's waves perfectly off-shore. But when the condition is like this be careful, currents are really strong and dangerous, never surf alone in this conditions at this spot ! Otherwise, you can also get some funny waves with all winds directions, except an East Wind that do not hit this spot, but nothing to compare with a serious South Swell. The city of Les Lecques is famous because there is the best mediterannean spot in this city : the Cap St Louis.
