Watch out for the semi-submerged rock just right (when looking at it from the beach) of the peak. Very fast, very sucky, especially when you reach the shallower areas. 3-5 second barrels not rare. Get off the wave before you collide with the jetty thing.

Tindaya

Tindaya Surf Spot Guide, Canary Islands Tindaya delivers a classic beach-break experience with reliable rights and lefts peeling over a sandy bottom, offering powerful yet fun waves that keep sessions exciting. Nestled in a remote corner of Fuerteventura, this spot captures a raw, uncrowded vibe perfect for surfers seeking authentic lines without the hustle. Whether […]

Almáciga

Almáciga Surf Spot Guide, Canary Islands Nestled on Tenerife's wild north coast, Almáciga delivers powerful reef breaks over a rocky bottom mixed with sand, offering fast rights and lefts that thrill experienced surfers. This spot's raw Atlantic energy and consistent swells create an uncrowded vibe where you can score long, peeling waves amid dramatic volcanic […]

The Bubble

Needs a bigger swell than Hierro to work.If it works good it's a fast, powerful, tubing wave and very shallow!!

Spew pits

Use boots and helmet.

Salinas

A good and usually powerfull righthander that breaks over a lava reef.

Playa de Salinas

Sick wave , fast take off , barrel from start to finish,, west swell wrap around the point but it'll work better on a strong southerly. Have seen photos of it holding four times over-head, seriously shallow at low-tide but still surfable, it hits a ledge at high tide and seems to stop working though i didnt surf it over 6-8ft.Lots of large urchins and a couple of unfreindly spaniards at the weekend.

Puerto del Rosario

Puerto del Rosario Surf Spot Guide, Canary Islands Playa Blanca near Puerto del Rosario offers accessible beach break waves that work for surfers just finding their feet on a board. Located close to the island's capital and airport, this sandy beach produces both left and right-hand waves in a relaxed setting without the intensity of […]

playa de mujer

this is an epic spot on flat days. this bay catches all the swell and makes a perfect wave out of it. you can do with some wind but north and ne wind will destry the wave immediately.
best wave breaks on south end of the bay, in the middle of the bay you find a rock that also splits the wave nicely.
may get crowded due to surf schools.

Playa de Esquinzo

You can't see your car from the beach + you're 4 miles away from the next town. Be sure you lock it properly!Surfing it is easy though it is a perfect beach break. Paddling out near the big rock in the middle of the bay assures not to waste energy on the whitewater. If it is crowded be nice to the locals and give them some waves (they are way better then you are anyway...).Do not camp on the beach it is controlled!Bring your longboard it works all the time!
