Sun beach

Easy wave for all surfers the life guards shut the beach when there are medium size waves but its a long beach and you will be sure to find a wave you can surf, plus varadero is very small so if there is no surf one side you can walk to the other side in minutes.

Temptations

Guardalavaca

I hit this spot about 10 years ago on magazine trip that didn't work out (the commies stole all our film). I'm curious wheher anyone else has ever been there. I may have been the first to surf it, The locals thought "surfing" was windsurfing and they kept asking me where the sail was on my board.Anyeway, it's a big government-run resort, very beautiful beach. Sketchy swell, I think becuase it's blocked by the Turks and Caicos.

Caletone

A long barrier reef along the town of Caletone, a small fishing village, with breaks and bends that allow some sectiony lefts and rights to peel. Constant wind swell in the summer months allow some consistent sloppy peaks to be ridden but is better on possible winter groundswells.

Divine

I'm knee boarder from Hawaii. This spot you say is at the top of temptation pont. There is a easy way out to the wave, just watch for the rocks, the BIG urchins coming from hawaii and surfing the big island for years, Rocks are just part of the fun.and big sharks.and love those urchins !!

Boca de Yumuri

Park your car at the sid of the street just before entering the bridge. left hand side is a little bar. People are friendly but poor, so bring some little gifts to avoid giving money.

Zavial

Parking is available right at the beach entrance, in summer don't leave valuables in your car, and watch the crowd....

Due to its relatively protected position, needs a sizeable swell (or well orientated) before it goes off.

Again, in summer, strong thermal winds often blow offshore in the evening, so check conditions throughout the day. Depending on the sand bar, it can be very fickle - working for only an hour or so, on an incoming tide. The wave can be quite 'sectiony', closing out often. At low tide a wave breaks alongside the cliffs on the extreme western end of the beach behind the point. Respect the locals, sometimes theres some stress in the line up with tourists (usually called "bifos") that drop in.

Vale Figueira

Vale Figueira Surf Spot Guide, Portugal Nestled in Portugal's wild Algarve west coast, Vale Figueira delivers reliable beach-break waves that peel both lefts and rights over a sandy bottom with scattered rocks, creating a mellow yet exciting vibe perfect for uncrowded sessions. This hidden gem offers consistent peaks scattered along a vast stretch of golden […]

Três Irmãos

Be carefull, the wave breaks near the rocks, if u dont pay attention it can get messy!!+you can park your car infront of the cafe/restaurant. the wave is and Insane ride (when it works) fun and closes out at the end(great for floaters and arials), but it can get crazy in big waves.
