Jersey - Watersplash

Jersey - Watersplash Surf Spot Guide, UK The Watersplash stands as Jersey's most consistent and powerful beach break, delivering hollow, fast waves that peel across golden sand banks along the island's famous west coast. This three-kilometre stretch of St Ouen's Bay has hosted European competitions for decades and remains the go-to destination for surfers seeking […]

Jerseys - El tico

Jerseys - El Tico Surf Spot Guide, UK El Tico in Jersey's St Ouen's Bay delivers classic beach break waves that peel along a stunning 5 kilometer stretch of sand, offering fun, forgiving rights and lefts for surfers chasing reliable Channel Island swells. The sandy bottom makes it approachable yet capable of holding solid shape […]

Jersey - Plemont

critical take off point, square tube, a thin pintail gun should set you in good stead. put it this way top southafrican surfer gary ablet who just returned from 3 months in WA and 6 months in indo got 3 tubes on 1 wave and ended by smashing his 7"6 pin on the gnarly plemont reef, and sed "thats the best tube of my life,im off home".

Jersey - Petit Port

The reef looks a lot worse than it actually is. The right handers are normally the better shaped side to the wave. Choose a neap tide, works best on a 2 metre swell, try the low water bowl if you feel daring.

Jersey - Icco tower

dont know it very well yet but its got potential

Jersey - La mare

Fineprice was way better than waitrose or marks & sparks or whatever that new joint is. The floor in fine price was red and had bits of glitter in it. RIP fine price.

Jersey - Les Laveurs

Short well shaped wave, can be a good choice when other areas are crowded, only works on spring tides

Jersey - Goldsmiths

You can only surf it,if its a 34ft tide +, and at high tide. It will work if the most consistent spots (watersplash, secrets) are 3-4ft +.Surf to the right of the slipway.

Jersey - Greve de Lecq

Needs a deep low pressure, normally only works in southerly gale conditions, powerful wave, short but excellent wave when it works. only works on about a 12 days of the year on a spring low water

Guernsey - Vazon Reef

The reef consists of a left and right that break only during high tide over the rocky outcrop in the middle of Vazon bay. The left starts working on a lower tide and consists of a fast ledgy takeoff right next to the infamous "nipple rock" followed by a disappointing slow inside section. On a larger spring tide the right starts to produce equally fast ledgy takeoffs followed by a longer inside wall. Generally a fun wave which can occasionally produce some really good and hollow waves when big. As with most of the spots at Vazon it is not as exposed to swell or winds as spots like perelle and therefore can be a good place to head when conditions aren't clean.
