Steeper and hollower than Zunzal, but much shorter and never as big. One of the only left breaks in El Salvador.
ocks are only a hazard if you take off too deep off the point... take off just a little bit right of the boil (the local kids sit really close to the boil and usually snag the best waves - but i have seen even the better locals and guides take stitches due to the rocks...).on the bigger sets, there's a peak a bit right off the main peak... you will almost always get your share if you sit on this peak.
An outstanding and hollow right point break. A real classic. Long hollow lines with plenty of power. About 3 distinct sections with the middle usually best. Often thought of as a tropical Rincon.
If driving its best if you have a little extra clearance or you will probably drag a little. You don't really need 4X4 though unless the road is wet.
Paddle out from the beach. Unless you're really good going off the rocks you're probably going to get cut up or ding your board, and only go off the rocks on higher tides.
Leave your car at the Restaurant / Hotel Ranch Mango, they usually don't charge, just buy a drink or some food.
