2 reefs next 2 each other. Half mile paddle or boat. Hard core locals you should not mess with. Reef you can't straighten out on fast down the line perfect right.
James Point Surf Spot Guide, Bahamas Nestled on Eleuthera's wild Atlantic coast, James Point delivers powerful point-break waves that peel neatly into a wide sandy stretch, offering clean rights and occasional lefts over a sharp reef and coral bottom mixed with sand. This uncrowded gem thrives when east trades drag offshore, creating one of the […]
This spot is a little tricky getting in the water. The best spot I have found is at the northern most corner of the beach. There is a little patch of sand here and if you time it right you can get out easily. Beware of the current rushing out, it can put you in a dangerous position. It will pull you towards the cliff and if you can't beat it you will pay.
On big swell, can get rather heavy, but fairly mellow take-off jacking up into nice steep walled lefts (occasional barrels) and epic but hairy rights with some unbelievable barrels.. does need the a SW wind.
Seen often with no tag line in major mags. Kelly Slater got spanked by Pa Floyd when he came as a grimmie on a trip - spanked for taking his coconuts!
French Bay Surf Spot Guide, Bahamas French Bay on San Salvador Island stands out as one of the Caribbean's most rewarding reef breaks for experienced surfers seeking hollow, powerful waves in a pristine setting. The crystal-clear water and consistent swell make this a hidden gem that delivers quality rides with minimal crowds, offering the kind […]
This spot is very consistent and fun. The reef can be very hairy at low tide when you walk out to the break. You don't have to worry too much about getting bounced off the coral because it breaks pretty deep. The real problemis getting in and out of the water. You have to do some serious dancing. There's urchins and fire coral that can hurt. I've stepped on both.
Guana Beach Surf Spot Guide, Bahamas Guana Beach sits along the northern coastline of Great Guana Cay in the Abacos, offering a rare combination of consistent waves and genuine solitude that has become increasingly difficult to find in the Caribbean. This talcum-white sand beach stretches for kilometres along the Atlantic-facing shore, backed by a protective […]
