Hinsuay Namsay

Chaweng Malibu

Chaweng Malibu Surf Spot Guide, Thailand Chaweng Malibu is Koh Samui's most accessible and welcoming surf destination, offering a fun beach break with waves that work for surfers of all abilities. The A-frame peaks produce both left and right-hand waves over a sandy bottom, creating a forgiving environment where you can focus on improving your […]

Cape Pakarang

It's further than you think to paddle out to the right and the left requires a 20 minute hike over broken dead coral and a rock hop out to the break so wearing a pair of booties is adviseable. The beach to the south has decent waves around the rivermouth.

Bang Tao

The southern end of the beach has a small fishing village and is protected from the swells, on the big surf days (over 3 metres) some nice smaller waves appear here. Towards the northern end the waves get bigger. The northern end of the beach is exposed to the winds and the shifting sand banks make the waves unpredictable, but on its day the surf can be perfect.

Bang Saphan

Swell like this is very rare on this side of the coast, but when it does pick up(monsoon season) it can get pretty good.Right before I took the first shot was the cleanest wave I have seen since Kirra Point in Australia!!Just wish I'd had my board there!!

Bang Niang Rivermouth

Park in the coconut grove (watch out for falling coconuts). It's a lazy man's break, easy paddle out and when it's working has punchy fast wedges that breaks quite close to the shore.
