Rockboils

Take off, tuck in and hope to make it out. The heaviest wave ive ever surfed, kind of like a minni shark island i think. Got lots of scars from there. Dont get washed into the cave below the cliff or youre fucked..

Reserve Beach

Really good spot when the conditions are right. Part of the west coast reserve, come in here with your boards hidden. Loads of different peaks, There is another more exposed beach further south from it also gets good in summer. This place is best in small to moderate swell. 2-5 foot.

Paternoster

Classic spot when on. Needs a medium to big clean WSW swell pushing in to turn on properly, 5-8foot and light offshore. Paddle in from the beach cause its a mission from the rocks when big. Pretty gnarley and heavy wave when on with some good barrels. Rights and lefts, though the lefts work better on SW.

Plaasbaai Shorey

Unknown to most but this place seriously cranks, especially in winter. Its a powerful sandbar on the one side (closes out alot), the shorey is next to it between it and the rocks. This is where the wave breaks straight onto the shallow beach away from sandbar. Awsome big barrels. Often closes out but intense.

Papsakbaai

Excellent shallow beachbreak that offers good barrels ond often fairly long rides depending on conditions. The wave starts to break on big swell off a rocky sandbar and eventually hits the shorebreak section. Winter its good. Come when theres a medium to big westcoast swell, SSW (5-8) and this place will be going off!

Oysters

Kiff spot. Good hollow righthand reef break. Often pretty fast wave.

Langebaan Harbour Reef

Classic spot though few know of it. Rarely works, needs a big to huge westerly swell to come into saldanha bay, though when it does it cranks!

Langebaan (groot strand)

This is probably the best wave inside the actual bay that picks up the most swell, though usually it will still obviously be smaller than along the coast. This is where the the most swell reaches inside. Ive surfed it 5foot once, best in winter clean groundswell. Its a fairly shallow righthand sandbar setup. The best place inside the bay when the others along the coast are outtve control or blown out.

Langebaan (klein strand)

Kak spot inside the Langbaansaldhana bay area. Needs a big swell comming into the bay to start working properly and even then the biggest youll find it will be 4 foot. It is however a good alternative in the area when all the other more exposed spots are too big, blown out or outta control, otherwise just give it a miss not worth it.
